De Nikon D70 is een digitale spiegelreflex camera met zeer uitgebreide mogelijkheden. Het grootste voordeel van een digitale camera boven een normale is dat je onbeperkt foto's kan nemen en ze direct kunt beoordelen via het LCD-schermpje. We hebben na uitgebreid zoeken en vergelijken gekozen voor de D70 vanwege zijn vele mogelijkheden en kwalitatieve eigenschappen. We wilden bijvoorbeeld de mogelijkheid om lenzen te wisselen en hebben dan ook 2 lenzen bij dit toestel.
